Dear Reyne

Having had a rather unique start in graduate school, I have faced a variety of challenges.  As a result, many people ask me for advice on how to get through the problems that working in science can cause.  Some of these issues are related to being a woman in a field dominated by men, but many are universal to both sexes.  Feel free to email me questions of your own.  I will try to answer them here.

Please keep in mind that these are just advice.  What you do with them is your own responsibility.  I suggest going to professionals (therapist, police, your graduate student advisor, etc.) with serious problems.
